"19 Paul" Has BBQ Covered

 
Nov. 2012 -- 19 Paul, a new barbecue restaurant at 11155 S. Vincennes, offers food that’s so good, “it should be a crime.”
 
Owned by Chicago Police Officer Kurrin Beamon, the restaurant offers an extensive menu of home made barbecue and side dishes, all prepared from recipes handed down from Beamon’s mother and grandmother. Pork and beef brisket are smoked for a minimum of 14 hours and rubbed with a special blend of spices. 
 
The 19 Paul menu is as fun to read as it is appetizing. Dishes are named using police terminology – Top Brass St.
